Have you got your Unique Student Identifier yet (USI)?
Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number linking all of your training results from all of your training providers into one place. It makes it easy for you to track and reference your training information – plus it’s free to set up.
All students, including current students, enrolling or re-enrolling in nationally recognised training from 1 January, 2015 will need to have a USI to give to their training organisation.
To get your USI now, follow these simple steps:
Create your USI at usi.gov.au
Make sure you have one of the following forms of ID ready: Drivers License, Medicare Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, Citizen Certificate, Visa or Immi Card
You got it! Keep your USI somewhere you can easily find it. This means if you're already doing a course that you're due to finish in 2015, you need to provide your USI to us before we can issue your qualification.
