As you may be aware, today the Queensland Government announced two additional coronavirus cases in south east Queensland. We are continually monitoring the advice from Queensland Health about this outbreak and today have introduced further precautionary measures to keep our clients and employees safe.

At this time, CPL has had zero confirmed cases of coronavirus, and the measures we have chosen to implement this weekend are both precautionary and temporary.

From today, you will notice our CPL employees wearing masks when delivering services. This measure has been introduced to provide the best possible protection, alongside social distancing and good hygiene, for you and your family.

Our SIC centres will be open tomorrow with reduced numbers. However, due to the community transmission of this current outbreak, if you can stay home, we encourage you to do so.

If you would still like to attend a centre tomorrow, a manager will be in touch with you today to confirm arrangements.

Tomorrow you’ll notice:

  • All employees will wear PPE (masks and gloves)

  • A maximum of 10 people (including employees) will be in a space together

  • Social distancing will remain in place

  • All visitors will have their temperatures taken and will complete a health declaration form

Allied Health services will continue to operate tomorrow. If you have an Allied Health appointment this week, please note the following

  • You can change your appointment to telehealth at any time

  • Therapists will be wearing PPE (masks and gloves) during all therapy sessions

  • Therapists will wear full PPE for any mealtime assessment or mealtime therapy sessions

  • Numbers will be restricted to one parent or carer attending the sessions

  • Social distancing rules will apply

  • All visitors to complete health declaration form and have temperature taken

If you have any questions, or would like to change your appointment to a telehealth appointment, please contact your local service or 1800 275 753.

The Toy library will remain open by appointment only.

This morning, Queensland Health has released a list of 43 locations visited by people who have tested positive for COVID-19. If you visited one of these locations on the specified date and time, please contact 13 HEALTH for directions.
