I hope you are all keeping well. Following is this week’s Managers’ update. Please pass on to your teams as necessary.

With many of us busily planning our gradual return to  pre-COVID-19 service delivery, we have created Preparation and Behaviour documents for each business area  to read and implement before the soft opening of services on Monday. Please use these documents as a guide and make the appropriate and required changes within your teams as soon as possible.

You’ll find the documents on our Managers’ Sharepoint, however please remember that this is a restricted folder and can only be accessed by those with prior approval. If you do not have access to this folder, please submit a request, speak to Kirsty Austin or the GM for your area.

The Queensland Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors has released a fact sheet about supporting people with disability during the COVID-19 pandemic and applying Queensland’s Public Health Directions to disability services. Please take a moment to read this document and share with your team members.

In March, we suspended all refresher and face-to-face training to meet social distancing requirements. As the government has begun to increase the numbers permitted in gatherings, CPL’s refresher training will recommence in the coming weeks. The Training team are currently investigating options to ensure training is off-site/ not in sites that clients access and accommodate as many employees, while maintaining social distancing and gathering restrictions. The return and delivery modes of other training (ie WHS) is also being planned.

Please remind your team that if they receive a notification of a training session that they are required to attend. If you have any questions please email training@cpl.org.au

Take care.
