CPL – Choice, Passion, Life is thrilled to continue its naming rights partnership for Gold Coast Marathon's 2024 CPL Wheelchair 10km and CPL Wheelchair Marathon 42km events.
This partnership represents a step forward in our commitment to creating an inclusive society and providing greater opportunities for people with disability.

Gold Coast Marathon is a world-class event that attracts over 20,000 participants of all ages and abilities. By making this event more accessible for all, it allows people with disability to have the opportunity to participate among other like-minded people and confidently take part to enjoy the things they love.
Celebrating its 44th year, the Gold Coast Marathon takes place from Saturday 6 July to Sunday 7 July 2024, along the famously flat, breezy and scenic coastline of the Gold Coast. Participants from across the world travel to the Gold Coast to take on eight races, including Gold Coast Marathon, CPL Wheelchair Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km Run, CPL Wheelchair 10km, Gold Coast Airport 5km, 4km Wheelchair, 4km Junior Dash and 2km Junior Dash.
In 2023, Events Management Queensland introduced accessible podiums, increased the wheelchair events prize money, and included equal trophy recognition at the Gold Coast Marathon. As we look ahead to 2024, this partnership is committed to building upon these steps, striving to enhance accessibility further.

Recognising that changing the world is a group effort and requires collective action, the partnership with Gold Cost Marathon is an example of two organisations coming together to create meaningful change. This collaboration represents a step towards building a more inclusive society by prioritising access, inclusion, and participation for all.
