Our Supported Independent Living Communities
Each home is supported by service facilitator who manages the day to day management of the home and there is an onsite service manager. They are supported by a Health Liaison Officer who trains staff in addition to developing and reviewing support plans.
The properties are built to Specialist Disability Accommodation High Physical Support level, with fully modified en-suite bedrooms, ceiling hoists in all bedrooms and bathrooms and automated doors and each room has built in robes and its own private patio.
Hillcrest
The Hillcrest Community joined CPL in 2009. It is located in a quiet, leafy suburb and has a welcoming environment that maximises your capacity to live as independently as possible whilst incorporating your complex and diverse personal support needs.
Its location makes it easy to access the community, and the residents love getting out to the local RSL, or even a quick trip to the Gold Coast. There is a range of quality General Practitioners nearby and there is a hydrotherapy pool a short five-minute drive away.
It is made up of six high physical support properties with four people residing in each, accommodating up to 24 residents. Our staff are highly trained in supporting people who require assistance with PEG, Complex bowel supports, epilepsy, catheters, manual handling and with Positive Behaviour Strategies Support Plans (PBSPs).
Toowoomba
Located in the beautiful town of Toowoomba, our community offers three near-new 2-bedroom villas. Purpose-built in April 2019, these villas incorporate our resident's personal needs and accessible considerations in these beautifully designed homes.
These villas offer high-quality living with ducted air-conditioning, security screens, and wheelchair access to all internal and external areas. Bedrooms have accessible ensuite bathrooms, built-in wardrobes and there is a private outdoor patio off the lounge room.
