One-size-fits all solutions aren’t what we’re about at CPL – we work alongside you and your family to understand your goals and help you create the type of life you want to live.
The CPL experience
What's it like to work with us? Find out as four families share their experiences.
Diagnosis is an emotional time for any parent; you will likely have a host of unanswered questions and uncertainty about the future. We understand. CPL has worked with families for more than 70 years through diagnosis and early intervention, and can work with you to see the possibilities that lay ahead.
Every parent wants the best for their child, and at CPL we won’t settle for anything less. We provide a variety of support and services for children with disabilities, and can work with you and your child to build a future filled with potential.
Teens and school leavers
Teenage years are typically a time of extensive growth - physically, emotionally and intellectually. Through our range of support, we can assist teenagers in the transition from primary school to high school, and then on to further education, the world of employment, or other fulfilling post-school options.
Your goals, needs and desires change as you get older, but their importance doesn’t. Whether your goal is to get out more, take up a hobby or cook meals for yourself at home, we're here to help you make this happen.
You have a loved one, and you want the best support possible. Our services can support your loved one to maintain their independence, their social life and their connection with world. From overnight support to short and long-term stays and from therapies to home modifications, we have the people who can make a difference and give you piece of mind.
Parents and carers
Providing care for someone is a big responsibility. It can leave parents and carers feeling stressed and isolated, but you don’t have to do it alone. We have ways that we can help.
Most teachers will work with children with disability at some point during their career. You may need to make some modifications to your lesson plans or classrooms to accommodate a child requiring additional support. CPL can provide information, resources and workshops to help you prepare and ensure all children can reach their full potential.
How we help with the NDIS
By now, most people will have heard of the new way in which disability services are being funded – the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We know that working out what it all means for you can be a confusing, time consuming, and even a frustrating process. But as an NDIS provider, we’ll always be here to help you navigate your journey and get the best out of it.
