The CPL Group affirms our commitment to creating equality and developing meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan is our organisation’s roadmap to support the national reconciliation movement and positively impact the health outcomes for First Nations people with disability.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan focuses on four key areas:

  1. Building relationships to promote reconciliation
  2. Developing new resources for employees, clients and partners
  3. Advocating for improved, culturally-relevant disability services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;
  4. Continuing to improve education and working towards removing barriers for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Plan is the CPL Group’s commitment to listen and to learn. We know reconciliation isn’t possible without the leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and we will continue to look for ways to work alongside them on our journey towards reconciliation.

CPL’s Reconciliation Artwork

As part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, the CPL Group engaged Indigenous artist, Chad Briggs, to create an original artwork.

Over four months, Chad worked to create this artwork which represents the journey of the CPL Group and our commitment to help advance the reconciliation movement within our communities.

The artwork is split into three key sections, with each bora representing the past, present and future of the CPL Group. The artwork incorporates both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artforms and many of the elements represent our clients and our employees.
