CPL’s Labrador service offers a welcoming, sensory-friendly space for adults to build skills, enjoy meaningful activities and take part in short term respite in a convenient Gold Coast location.

Located at Olsen House, the service includes indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support connection, creativity and wellbeing. Features include luscious gardens, an in-ground trampoline, sandpit, basketball hoop, backyard cabin retreat, sensory room, kitchen and a large versatile common area featuring a large collection of social games. .

CPL's Labrador service is located on  Yugambeh Country.

Support in Centre during weekdays

During the week, Olsen House hosts CPL's Labrador Support in Centre program, offering activities that help adults build confidence, develop everyday skills and connect with others in a supportive environment.

Adult Short Term Accommocation and Assistance

CPL’s Labrador service also offers Short Term Accommodation and Assistance for adults utilsing all of the facilities on site plus the exclusive use of personalised single occupancy bedrooms. 

Short Term Accommodation and Assistance gives people with disability the opportunity to spend time in a safe and supportive environment, enjoy activities, build independence and connect with others, while families and carers take a break. During the week there are options to join the on site Support in Centre events and program or explore the local community in a way that aligns with personal preference.

Short Term Accommodation and Assistance at Labrador 


Short Term Accommodation and Assistance provides temporary supported accommodation for people with disability. Funded through the Core Supports budget of your NDIS plan, Short Term Accommodation can offer opportunities to build independence, develop new skills, connect with others and enjoy a change of environment, while giving families and carers a break from their usual caring responsibilities. 

At CPL Labrador, our Short Term Accommodation and Assistance service is delivered from Olsen House. Conveniently located close to Harbour Town Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast, the home has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, accessible and sensory-friendly environment. 

Olsen House features:

  • Four bedrooms
  • Two bathrooms
  • Sedicated sensory room
  • Spacious indoor living areas
  • Outdoor spaces for recreation and relaxation.
  • The home is fully accessible and includes ducted air conditioning throughout. 


With easy access to public transport and the many attractions the Gold Coast has to offer, Olsen House provides a welcoming place for people to stay, connect with others and enjoy new experiences in a supportive setting.

This support was previously referred to as respite.  

At CPL Labrador, our Short Term Accommodation and Assistance is delivered from Olsen House, and welcomes adults to stay of a weeknight. Olsen House features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dedicated sensory room, spacious indoor living areas and outdoor spaces for recreation and relaxation. The home is fully accessible and includes ducted air conditioning throughout.
