CPL’s Labrador service offers a welcoming, sensory-friendly space for children and adults to build skills, enjoy meaningful activities and take part in short term respite in a convenient Gold Coast location.
Located at Olsen House, the service includes indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support connection, creativity and wellbeing. Features include luscious gardens, an in-ground trampoline, sandpit, basketball hoop, play fort with a slide, sensory room and kitchen.

Adult Support in Centre during weekdays
Labrador Support in Centre offers sensory-based activities that help adults build confidence, develop everyday skills and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Activities may include cooking, creative activities, sensory experiences and time outdoors, using the service’s kitchen, sensory room and outdoor spaces.
Adult Short Term Respite during weeknights
CPL’s Labrador service also offers Short Term Respite for adults on weeknights.
Short Term Respite gives people with disability the opportunity to spend time in a safe and supportive environment, enjoy activities, build independence and connect with others, while families and carers take a break.
Children's Short Term Respite on weekends

Short Term Respite at Labrador
Short Term Respite (STR), previously known as Short Term Accommodation (STA), provides temporary supported accommodation for people with disability. Funded through the Core Supports budget of your NDIS plan, STR can offer opportunities to build independence, develop new skills, connect with others and enjoy a change of environment, while giving families and carers a break from their usual caring responsibilities.
At CPL Labrador, our STR service is delivered from Olsen House and welcomes both adults and children. Conveniently located close to Harbour Town Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast, the home has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, accessible and sensory-friendly environment.
Olsen House features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dedicated sensory room, spacious indoor living areas and outdoor spaces for recreation and relaxation. The home is fully accessible and includes ducted air conditioning throughout.
With easy access to public transport and the many attractions the Gold Coast has to offer, Olsen House provides a welcoming place for people to stay, connect with others and enjoy new experiences in a supportive setting.
Support in Centre
During weekdays, Olsen House also hosts CPL's Labrador Support in Centre program, offering sensory-based activities that utilise the home's sensory room, kitchen and outdoor spaces.

Clients at CPL's Southport service put their artistic skills to good use when Olsen House got re-furbished. They came up with a bright and quirky giraffe design so that the kids at Olsen has a fun new painting for the living room wall.
