Finding the right fit

In the beginning, we’ll have a conversation with you and your family to talk about what you’d like to do, or what you may need support with. Then, we’ll match you with a support worker who will deliver the experience you’re looking for.

Some of the things that we take into consideration before matching someone for you is their age, personality, your interests, the overall situation and the most important information – what makes your perfect fit. You can trial your support worker and if that match doesn’t work out, we will continue until we find one that meets your needs.

Integrated support

We're an integrated service provider with a focus on getting better outcomes for you. On request, we can link with our allied health professionals to help you maximise independence across all areas of living.

For example, we can recommend alternative equipment solutions to increase your independence in accessing the community safely, and provide advice for adaptations and equipment to facilitate independence around mealtimes and communication.

Community Access Support - FAQs

At CPL we work with you to find the support workers you feel comfortable with. You may not have the same person supporting you every shift (they need a break sometimes!) but we will do our best to make sure you see familiar, friendly faces each and every time.

Of course! We support you to do what YOU want to do. So, if you want to go to your local trivia night, we'll provide the support you need to get there. We can also help you to make friends and grow your own social circle.

If you're visiting Queensland or Northern New South Wales we can support you on holidays. We know it can be expensive to bring a Support Worker with you, but it can also be daunting travelling without one! Call us to have a chat about your upcoming holiday, and we'll make sure you have the support you need.
