Independent living with CPL
We want people to achieve their goals of greater independence, which is why we run a range of independent living (or life skills) programs. If you are considering moving to a home of your own, or want to get around more independently without support, we can help you develop the skills you need.
Cooking Program
Whether you are a self-confessed foodie or want to learn your way around the kitchen, CPL's Cooking Programs are for everyone. Running across Queensland and Northern New South Wales, participants will learn new skills, build confidence, make new friends (and, of course, taste your creations!). You can read more about the program below.
Practical driving skills at your own pace
Develop your driving skills in a safe environment, with CPL Hope Island's Road Safety & Driver Education Simulator.
With real life bumps and turns, the 10-week driving program enables users to gain confidence with steering and navigating traffic in a simulated, safe and hands-on learning environment.
